It is learnt that RIL chief has made it clear that government's gas allocation policy needs to be changed to enable his company to supply gas from the K-G basin to Anil's Dadri Power Project.Informal negotiations between RIL and Anil's RNRL have already started.
Last week, Anil Ambani had met Singh and Mukherjee and asked them to intervene to ensure supply of gas to his power project. SC ruled that gas is a natural asset and can be supplied according to government's allocation policy.
It is learnt that the government is considering to change the existing gas supply policy to ensure that greenfield power projects also get supply. The EGoM under the chairmanship of Pranab Mukherjee is likely to meet soon to decide on the same. As gr
