Rajpal singh hockey player biography

Rajpal Singh was born on månad 18, 1979, in a middle-class family in Shahbad, Haryana. Shahbad is widely considered the cradle of Indian hockey. He started playing hockey at the age of eight and was quickly recognized as a prodigy. 

He made his debut for the Indian national team in 2001 and was soon named the captain of the team. He led the Indian team to victory in many international tournaments, including the 2006 Asian Games and the 2007 Asia Cup. 

However, he was forced to retire from international hockey in 2010 due to an injury.

Born on 8th Aug.1983, winger Rajpal Singh won Junior World Cup in 2001. The Arjuna Awardee led India to silver at the Delhi Commonwealth Games, bronze at the 2010 Asian Games, followed by gold at the 2011 Asian Champions Trophy.

He was also one of the four native captains of dysfunct World Series Hockey (2011).

Winger Rajpal Singh was captain of the Indian national team, and the nation retained the Azlan Shah Cup at Ipoh under his leadership in 2010.

MOHALI: It was business as usual at the PCA stadium on a cool Monday afternoon.
