History
The Empire State Tribute Festival grew out of the long running, highly successful Lake George Elvis Festival.
The Lake George Elvis Festival began in The festival was founded by a group of Lake George residents, business owners and fans of the King of Rock and Roll®. Their intent was to create a festival that would honor the music and life of Elvis Presley® while at the same time building a festival that would bring economic benefit to the Lake George Region. The festival would bring the music of the King to the Queen of Americas Lakes.
The festivals founders worked with Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. to create a world class event respectful to everything Elvis® stood for. Since the festivals inception, it has continued to grow, and is now the second-largest Elvis® Tribute Artist Competition in the world. The festival attracted competitors and spectators from across the globe.

Collingwood Elvis Festival
The Collingwood Elvis Festival was an annual event featuring Elvis Tribute Artists, started in It was held in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada, and drew an international selection of performers and saw attendees from worldwide destinations.
The festival retired in after 25 years.
Background
[edit]In former Elvis tribute artist Billy Cann collaborated with the town of Collingwood to bring in The Canadian National Elvis Tribute and Convention. [1] The festival was sanctioned by Elvis Presley Enterprises beneath an annual Licence Agreement.[2] During the week of the festival, Elvis tribute artists perform in local bars and night clubs, with "Vegas style" shows in the municipal arena. The highlight of the festival is on a main stage in the center of the town. The festival historically includes a candlelight vigil and an Elvis Tribute Artist Parade.[3]
