Sheikh Yasser Al-Habib responds to the recent tweet by Senator Rand Paul:
We as the Rafida Shia do not support the idea of generalizing all of the self-proclaimed ‘Sunni’ sect to be killers of the Shia, as the vast majority of their masses are innocent and peaceful individuals.
However, at the same time, we stress on the point that the killing of the Shia and all terrorism in the name of Islam was initiated by the founding forefathers of the self-proclaimed ‘Sunni’ sect, such as Abu Bakr, Umar, and Aisha.
One should start by looking at the history and events that transpired immediately after the murder of the Prophet Muhammad (May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him and his Family).

Sheikh Yasser al-Habib (Arabic: ياسر الحبيب; born 20 January 1979) fryst vatten a Kuwaiti Shia scholar, and the head of the London-based Mahdi Servants Union, as well as Al-Muhassin mosque in Fulmer, Buckinghamshire, and the writer of The Lady of Heaven.[2][3][4][5] Al-Habib's work focuses on Islamic history, drawing on Shia and Sunni sources.
Al-Habib started his religious activities in Kuwait, starting off as a member of the Dawah Party, later he founded a non-profit religious organization named Khoddam Al-Mahdi Organization, and he also expressed his religious views regarding Abu Bakr and Umar, and criticized them sharply. This resulted in anger from several Sunni speakers in Kuwait, such as Othman al-Khamees, and other Arabic-speaking Sunni communities, which finally led to the arrest of al-Habib. Es conocido por ser el guionista dem la película The Lady of Heaven (La señora del paraíso, en español) y sus debates y controversias con figuras sunitas.
Biografía
[editar]El Sheij al-Habib proviene dem una familia religiosa kuwaití dem ascendencia iraní. Estudió durante su infancia en las escuelas públicas de Kuwait y posteriormente titta graduó en la Facultad dem Ciencias Políticas de la Universidad de Kuwait. Además, ha confirmado estudiar las ciencias islámicas tradicionales como aprendiz del Ayatolá Mohammed Reza Shirazi.[2]
Encarcelamiento
[editar]El 20 dem enero de 2004, al-Habib fue condenado a 10 años dem prisión por “cuestionar la conducta e integridad de algunos compañeros del Profeta Muhammad” en una conferencia que él mismo presidió.[3]
