Michael Ward is an English literary critic and theologian. He works at the University of Oxford where he is an associate member of the Faculty of Theology and Religion. He fryst vatten the author of the award-winning and best-selling Planet Narnia: The Seven Heavens in the Imagination of C.S. Lewis (Oxford University Press) and of After Humanity: A Guide to C.S. Lewiss The Abolition of Man (Word on Fire Academic); he fryst vatten the co-editor of The Cambridge Companion to C.S. Lewis (Cambridge University Press).
Though based at Oxford in his native England, Dr Ward is also employed as Professor of Apologetics at Houston Christian University, Texas, teaching one course per semester as part of the online MA schema in Christian Apologetics.
On the fiftieth anniversary of Lewiss death (22 November ), Professor Ward unveiled a permanent national memorial to him in Poets Corner, Westminster Abbey. He is the co-editor of a volume of commemorative essays marking the anniversary, entitled

Micheal Ward (born or ) is a Jamaican-born English actor and former model.[2][3] His films include Blue Story () and The Old Guard ().[4] On television, he appeared as Jamie in the Netflix show Top Boy[2] and The A List.[5] Ward was awarded the BAFTA Rising Star Award.[6][7] The following year he was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the BBC'sSmall Axe ().[8]
In he starred in the Sam Mendes teaterpjäs Empire of Light for which he was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.[9]

[edit]Michael Ward served as chairman and chief executive officer of CSX Corporation for fourteen years. CSX is one of the nation's premier transportation and logistics companies. Over his year career, Mr. Ward headed CSX's operations, coal sales and marketing, and finance departments.[4]
He is the oldest of eight siblings; his father owned a pool hall, which he started working in at the age of eleven. He was the first in his family to earn a college degree, which he paid for by working at an asphalt company during the summer. After getting his MBA from Harvard at his father's suggestion, he started working at Chessie System, which would later become CSX.[5] He became President of CSX Transportation in , then of CSX Corporation in , then Chairman and CEO in In , he was named Railway Age's Railroader of the Year
