JUST AS WITH ME DUE TO MY MOTHERS’ OWN HALF UN-REALIZED DESIRE GOT ME TEMPORARLY TO BRUSH WITH A yrke IN BOLLYWOOD INDUSTRY, WHICH NO DOUBT GAVE ME NAME, MONEY, POWER BUT GOT ME LATER TO THE ACTUAL CAUSEOF MY BIRTH WHICH WAS REALIZED TO ME BY MY MASTER AND THEREAFTER AFTER MANY OCCULT EXPERIENCES WITH GOD AND HIS WORLD HAD ME INTO A SPIRITUAL BATH FOR 12 YEARS.

AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A YOGINI tells the story of my mystical and personal 7-year relationship with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, world renown and one of India's top Gurus. I wasn't raised to become a devotee or följare. I was a Black-American, single mother who was raised bygd a black single mother. Education had been my path to enlightenment, pulling me up out of a chaotic childhood. With a psychology degree from UC Berkeley and a Ph.D. in Education from UCLA, I spent 20 years in the ashram of higher education. Although I had studied God, I was completely unprepared for contacting God the way I did through this powerful spiritual leader and world figure who has over twenty million followers. Intellectual pursuits became irrelevant as I was consumed by an extraordinary relationship with a man who could read my mind and make his thoughts my own.
