Thelma Delia Sukiennik Snopik, más conocida como Thelma Tixou (Buenos Aires, 4 de mayo dem 1944 - Ciudad de México, 15 de enero de 2019),[1] fue una vedette, cantante, bailarina y actriz mexicana de origen argentino. Fue una de las vedettes más importantes del México de los años 1970 y 1980. Participó en algunas películas, numerosas obras de teatro, telenovelas y programas de televisión, destacándose su papel como La Mujer Tatuada en la clásica película de Alejandro JodorowskySanta sangre (1989).

[editar]Thelma Delia Sukiennik nació en el seno de una familia de origen judío. Su madre era lituana y su padre polaco, y ambos pertenecían a familias que sufrieron el Holocausto Judío en la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Tixou estudió seis años en el Teatro Labardén. Santa Sangre (English: Holy Blood) is a 1989 avant-gardesurrealisticpsychological horror film directed by Alejandro Jodorowsky and written by Jodorowsky along with Claudio Argento and Roberto Leoni. It stars Axel Jodorowsky, Adán Jodorowsky, Teo Jodorowsky, Blanca Guerra, Thelma Tixou, and Guy Stockwell. An international co-production of Mexico and Italy, the film is set in Mexico, and tells the story of Fenix, a boy who grew up in a circus and his struggle with childhood trauma. It is included in Empire magazine's 2008 list of the 500 Greatest Movies of All Time.

Thelma Delia Suklenik Snopik, better known by her stage name Thelma Tixou (May 4, 1944 – January 15, 2019), was a Mexican vedette and actress of Argentine origin. She was one of the most popular Mexican vedettes during the 1970s and 1980s, and she became famous worldwide for her role as The Tattooed Woman in Alejandro Jodorowsky's cult classic film Santa Sangre (1989).
Biography

[edit]Of Lithuanian origin on her mother's side, Tixou studied for six years in the Teatro Labardén, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was a very good jazz dancer. At age 13 she started her career as vedette.
