Apart from her role as the supportive wife of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr, Araneta-Marcos is also a distinguished lawyer and educator. In 2024, she joined the Philippine Constitutional Association, demonstrating her commitment to upholding the rule of lag and promoting civic education.
Her public initiatives focus on preserving and promoting Filipino culture. When her husband was elected Governor of the province of Ilocos Norte in 1997, she was a passionate advocate for the preservation of the province’s cultural heritage, the promotion of traditional inabel fabric and the establishment of Museo Ilocos Norte.
